Steven R Moeller, Sr., 63, of Sac City, Iowa, passed away on August 10, 2018, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Steve was born the oldest child to Gordon and Ruth (Neddermeyer) Moeller in Corona, California, on September 25, 1954. He attended high school in La Habra, California, before joining the United States Marine Corp in 1973 where he became a Lance Corporal. He was honorably discharged in 1976.
On October 22, 1977, Steve was united in marriage to Denise Ann Bivins in Ricketts, Iowa. The couple had two sons, Steven Jr and Cody. Steve and Denise spent their married life in Idaho and Iowa, where Steve worked in sales, security and driving truck.
Steve enjoyed the simple things in life like a slow drive on a country road listening to his favorite music by Elvis or The Doors. He liked to barbeque a good steak and take a leisurely ride on his motorcycle. The most important facet of Steve’s life was love for his family.
Survivors include: his sons: Steven Moeller Jr. of Emmetsburg, Iowa; Cody Moeller and his wife Brandi and their son, Daryn of Emmetsburg, Iowa, and Steve Hartman and his wife Stephanie and their children, Kiera and Hunter of Fonda, Iowa; one brother Mike Moeller of Anaheim, California; one sister Keri Moeller of Boise, Idaho; and brother-in-law Paul Bivins Jr and wife Nanette of Utica, Mississippi; other relatives and friends.
Preceding Steve in death were his parents, his wife Denise, and his nephew Darren Bivins.
