Terry J. Freerking

Terry James Freerking was born September 3, 1954, the son of Robert (Jiggs) and Joyce Pearson. He passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at his home in Dow City, Iowa, at the age of 59.
Terry was born in Denison, Iowa. He received his education in the Denison Community Schools. He has been driving gravel truck for his father since he was sixteen, He drove truck for Tuet, Earlbacher, Friend Freightways and later purchased his own semi.
On April 1, 1996, Terry was united in marriage to Robin Garrett, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Dow City, Iowa. The couple made their home in Dow City.
Terry enjoyed semi trucks, NASCAR racing, watching televison, westling, and sending time with his dogs. He also loved riding his Harley, home cooked meals and spending time at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Robin; one daughter, Sophia; one granddaughter Emma Sophia; two sisters, Connie and her husband Wayne; Mary and her husband Edward; his mother-in-law Shirley; one sister in-law Vicki and her husband Jason; one brother-in-law Randall and his wife Vicki; two special friends Tony and Bill; other relatives and friends.
