Timothy Roy Kroll was born November 15, 1955, the son of Loren and Marjorie Samuelson Kroll. He died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of fifty-five.
Tim was born in Denison, Iowa. He received his education in the Harlan Community School, graduating in 1974. After receiving his education he worked at IBP in Denison. On September 4, 1982, Tim was united in marriage to Colleen Mefford, at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Woodbine, Iowa. The couple made their home in Woodbine where Tim became a certified mechanic. In 1989, he moved to Dow City where he owned and operated a small engine repair shop.
He loved vegetable and flower gardening. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing the guitar, collecting old coins, watching professional and college football, racing, billiards, and Dancing With The Stars. He liked to tinker around and fix bicycles which he gave away to local children. He also enjoyed fishing at local ponds and lakes.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Adam. Survivors include three sisters: Judy and her husband, Chuck; Donna and Becky; one brother, Terry and his wife, Suzette; other relatives and friends.
